Password Reset

Describes the process of reseting the password of a registered user.

For a registered user to reset her/his password the user needs to click the Forgot password link on the login page of the ZeroSix platform. The user is requested to provide the email address she/he used to register with the ZeroSix platform.

Registered user password reset

Once the user enters her/his email address and presses the RESET PASSWORD button, the user receives the following notification.

Success: You have successfully requested password reset. You will receive an email with a link to change your password.

An email with subject "[ZEROSIX] - Password reset requested" has been sent to the email account specified by the user. By clicking the RESET PASSWORD button included in the email, the user is requested to provide and conform her/his new password.

New password for user

By clicking the SUBMIT button a notification is received by the user and the user is redirected to the login page. The user can now use the new password to authenticate herself/himself with the ZeroSix platform.
