Adding Tokens
This section describes the process of adding tokens to your MetaMask wallet.
In order to be able to sign transactions using the MetaMask wallet, the Project Owner and the Verifier need to top up their MetaMask wallet with Energy Web Tokens (EWT) of the Energy Web Chain mainnet or Volta Tokens (VT) for the Volta testnet.
To purchase EWT tokens the user needs to use one of the various exchanges that list EWT to purchase a number of EWT and send those tokens to his MetaMask wallet address.
For the Volta testnet, the users can transfer freely tokens to their MetaMask wallet addresses by using the Volta Faucet.
