Step 5: Ownership
This sections describes Step 5 of the new project submission process.
Step 5 of the new project submission process involves the provision by the Project Owner of the mineral owner information.

The Project Owner is requested to fill in the following mandatory information about the ownership of the mineral rights and the royalty interests of the new project to be submitted for validation to the ZeroSix platform.
Type of Mineral Owner
Specifies the type of mineral ownership structure pertaining to the resources impacted by the project. Usually belonging to one or more private fee owners, or alternatively, owned by county, state, or federal government.

Mineral Rights Title lean obligation of permanent abandonment of resources from target project reservoir
Submit Declaration of Restrictive Covenants for each mineral owner to establish legal permanence for retired reserves. Enough mineral owners must sign to meet unitization requirements of regulator in respective project location.

With respect to royalty interest owners, the Project Owner is requested to fill in the following mandatory information for every royalty interest owner related to the new project to be submitted for validation to the ZeroSix platform under the Register Royalty Owner section.

Type of royalty interest owner.

Royalty Agreement
Royalty agreement between the Project Owner and the Royalty Interest Owner.

For each Royalty Interest Owner associated with the project, the project Owner fills in the Royalty Owner information, uploads the Royalty Agreement , and clicks the Add Royalty Owner button to add the respective information to the table with the list of the Royalty Interest Owner.
When all information related to Royalty Owners has been entered and once all their mandatory information has been provided the use click the Save button and waits for the corresponding success notification to appear on top right corner of the user interface. The user then clicks the Next button to proceed to the next step of the new project submission process.
